BJP DECLARES RAM NATH KOVIND AS ITS PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE. THE QUESTION IS THAT WHY KOVIND? WHY NOT ADVANI?
I think
because of 3 causes:-
- Advani as a President can effect Narendra Modi's image. It may result in 2 Power centres in India.
- Modi Govt. focusing on vote bank politics wants a person who can attract votes. Together the Modi govt. want to remove the false speckle of anti-reservation politics it faced during initial days.
- What Modi ji think and what Modi ji say are totally different. Modi ji a great politician speak what peoples wants to hear. When Modi ji was facing pressure to resign from Chief Minister Position after Godhra riot only Advani safeguards Modi's political career. Even Atal ji demand resignation letter. But Modi ji remember the election campaign in which Advani ji was absent. It’s “Modi's Politics” anything can happen in it.
